A House Inspired by Origami
Origami is an ancient art of Japanese origin that involves the folding of paper for different figures.
A Japanese architect Yasuhiro Yamashita, wanted to pass this art to architecture and used it as inspiration for one of their buildings.
The house is called “Mineral House” and it is a modern construction, avant-garde, which is dominated by straight lines and geometric shapes to advocate for minimalism.
It’s a spectacular building by design but not its size, its interior only has about 45 m2.
The interior of the house and furnishings have been created and selected respecting the inspiration that shaped also outside, on a line by always betting minimalist straight lines and geometric shapes.
Despite being a small space, minimalist decor and uncluttered space does provide visual sensation of spaciousness and continuity. Moreover, this feeling is achieved with the furniture clearly accented with natural lighting through large windows are there in the house.

This house is shown that the design, elegance, style and comfort in decorating, do not depend on space. It is shown that a small home can be just as spectacular and lovely large one. Just a question, as we always say, you know make the most of space and all the possibilities it offers.

“Mineral House” is located in Japan, particularly in a residential area belonging to the district of Nakano, Tokyo.
